Karaoke for twenty?

Good morning to you...

Jake didn't have any readers this morning, so he took the opportunity to meet his friend in Tokyo... Or so he thought. He arrived at their meeting place and could not find her. He looked for about 4 hours, and then ate at the hard rock cafe, and came back. We felt pretty bad for him. He found out that she had waited at another place for an hour, and then she left. Part of the problem was that they were meeting in the busiest train station in the world...literally.

After our devotional, Kristina found the grocery store and the foreign foods store too. She made spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, with rolls. Jake missed out on a great lunch. One of my readers stayed after her session to eat dinner at the church so that she could go to Karaoke with us. It was nice to get to hang out with our readers as friends tonight, and to get to know them a little better. We had five readers come with us, and the Takahagi team met us there along with some other friends of ours. Altogether, we had about twenty people in the room singing Karaoke together. It was incredibly fun. Our readers have some great voices. (Kristina tried to help them sing in Japanese too...She got a lot of laughs)

After Karaoke we talked on the street for a long time with Jake, Mike, and one of Mike's friends named Nolan. Then we came back to the church building and talked with Jake some more. We are all very ready for our off days this week. This week went unbelievably fast. We will be home before we know it.

If anyone has a good idea for a drink to serve at our Easter party on Sunday, let me know...

Good night,

Jeff
